Hey buddy, no problem, that's what we're here for, to help each other! So the cost of repairing the oily and defective wiring harness on the oil pressure control valve was €350 for me. Since then, the engine oil pressure control malfunction has been rectified and there have been no further problems or warning lights. So far, the engine is running like clockwork again and nothing indicates that this could change soon. Hope that reassures you a little!

Oh man, that's great to hear! Your words definitely put my mind at ease a bit. 350 is not a small amount of money, but it could definitely be worse. Unreal, I'm going to take my car to the garage tomorrow and hope it's the same problem as yours. I'll keep you posted! Thanks again for your help!

Hey buddy, your symptoms sound pretty damn similar to what I experienced with my 2010 Renault Scénic (diesel, 112,500 km). Had a similar warning light and oil light that came on. It was the wiring harness on the oil pressure control valve, which was greasy and defective. Yep, it was definitely a serious problem. I had to take my car to the garage and they replaced the part. Since then, nothing has lit up and the car runs like clockwork again. So, if I were you, I would go to the garage as soon as possible. Keep your fingers crossed that everything runs smoothly!
