Onix check engine light
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Chevrolet Onix with a gasoline engine is experiencing a check engine light at just over 21,000 km. The suspected cause is a faulty air valve, potentially due to a vacuum leak, possibly from the hose connection between the pump and the valve. The issue was confirmed to be a defective hose connection, which was resolved at a cost.

Stalling does happen sometimes, yeah. Where exactly should I be looking for these hoses?

It's tough to describe, but they're generally around the air valve and intake manifold area. Honestly, if you're not comfortable tracing vacuum lines, it might be worth taking it to a shop. Could save you some headache.

Appreciate the insight. Turns out it was exactly what I suspected – a defective hose connection. Cost me 175€ to get it sorted.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Onix. Check your manifold pressure. Is the engine stalling or idling rough? It could be a cracked or disconnected vacuum hose on the air intake.
