Orlando AUC Sensor Fault

I've got a 2016 Chevrolet Orlando diesel with 155717 km on the clock. The blower motor isn't working, and after scanning it, I'm getting an AUC sensor fault. Could a defective cable or plug really stop the whole thing? Anyone else had this?

Summary of the thread

A 2016 Chevrolet Orlando diesel experienced a blower motor failure, linked to an AUC sensor fault. The issue was traced to defective wiring or connectors, which can disrupt the climate control system. The problem was resolved by replacing the faulty wiring and connector, costing 95€.

I've got an Orlando too. Had a similar issue last year. Was the climate control going nuts as well?

Yeah, the climate control seems all over the place. How did you fix it?

Sounds like the same thing. I tried messing with it myself but ended up taking it to a workshop. They said the AUC sensor wiring was toast. Saved me a headache in the long run.

Thanks for the tip. It ended up being the same issue. Workshop charged 95€ to replace the wiring and connector. Sorted now!
