Orlando Keyless Access Failure
Summary of the thread
The keyless access on a 2013 Chevrolet Orlando diesel stopped working, with an error indicating a potential issue with the door handle electronics. The problem was suspected to be a faulty cable or plug. After investigation, it was found to be a corroded connector in the door, which was resolved at a local shop for 95€.

Just the driver's door. Fuses are fine. Suspecting the door handle itself - the electrics inside. Any experience with the door mechanism?

Ah, just the one door points to a localized issue, like you suspect. If the fuses are okay, and it's just the one door, it's likely the door handle unit itself. Honestly, with electrics, I'd take it to a workshop before you start pulling things apart. You could end up making it worse!

Cheers for the input. Turned out to be a corroded connector in the door. 95€ at the local shop and it's sorted.

Oh no, that sounds frustrating! I've not had that exact issue, but I've heard of similar problems with other car's door electronics. Is it both doors, or just one? Have you checked the fuses? Maybe a sensor issue?
