Pathfinder diesel fuel sensor fault

My 2012 Nissan Pathfinder diesel is playing up. Check engine light's on, keeps stalling at idle, and I pulled the codes - fuel level sensor fault apparently. Anyone seen this before? I've checked for obvious stuff, but I'm no expert.

A 2012 Nissan Pathfinder diesel was experiencing issues with the check engine light, stalling at idle, and a fuel level sensor fault code. The problem was identified as a defective fuse for the fuel level sensor. Replacing the fuse resolved the issue.

I had a similar issue with my Pathfinder, though I can't remember the exact year. The error memory was also showing a fault with the fuel level sensor. Have you checked the fuse for the fuel pump or sensor? Sometimes a simple fuse is all that's needed.

While a faulty fuse can indeed cause these symptoms, as it was in my case, it's best to have it properly diagnosed. It may also be a defective sensor and require replacement. I would recommend visiting a qualified workshop to pinpoint the definitive cause and prevent consequential damage.

Turns out, it was a defective fuse for the fuel level sensor. Replaced it for 52€, and the problem is gone!
