Peugeot 2008 Rear AC Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Peugeot 2008 is experiencing issues with the rear AC not cooling properly, with a diagnostic indicating an error related to the rear ventilation flap and a malfunctioning climate control unit. The suspected cause is a faulty cable or plug connection to the flap motor. A similar issue in another vehicle was resolved by checking and repairing the wiring and connectors to the flap actuator, which was confirmed as the solution after a garage visit.

Thanks! Where exactly is the flap motor located? I've had a quick look but couldn't pinpoint it. Is it easy to access, or do I need to dismantle half the interior?

On my Megane, it was buried behind the center console, a real pain to get to. Given yours is also a rear vent issue, it's probably in a similar spot. Honestly, unless you're super confident with car electrics, it might be worth getting a workshop to take a look. Could save you a lot of time and frustration.

Appreciate the advice! I took it to a local garage, and you were spot on. It was indeed a faulty connector to the flap actuator. They cleaned it up and replaced a damaged wire, all in for 95€.

I had something similar with my old Renault Megane. The rear vents stopped working, and it turned out to be a faulty connection to the flap actuator. I didn't get an error code, but it made the AC pretty useless in the back. Have you checked the wiring and connectors to the flap motor?
