Platina electrical navigation issues
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Nissan Platina is experiencing electrical issues, including unresponsive navigation and error codes, possibly due to implausible control unit programming. The problem may stem from software faults. A suggested solution is to have the control unit checked and potentially reset by a workshop, which resolved the issue in this case through a software refresh.

Yeah, nav's completely unresponsive. Error stored in the error memory, generall electrical malfunction. You get that too? What fixed it?

Yep, navigation went haywire too. Unfortunately, a software reset didn't solve the problem. You should get the control unit checked by a workshop, they have the right tools for onboard diagnostics. Implausible programming is a serious fault.

Appreciate the confirmation and advice. Workshop confirmed the diagnosis, and the repair cost was about 240€. Looks like a control unit software refresh sorted it. Thanks!

I've had similar issues with my Platina. Error memory full, and electrical stuff acting up. Was the navigation system also affected?
