S10 rear ventilation problem
Summary of the thread
A 2004 Chevrolet S10 is experiencing issues with the rear ventilation flap, resulting in an error code, erratic climate control, and inadequate cooling from the rear AC. The suspected cause is a faulty cable or plug connection. A similar issue was resolved by addressing the 'rear vent motor connection,' suggesting that checking and possibly repairing this connection could solve the problem.

Yeah, it's mainly the rear. Front seems okay. What exactly was the problem with yours? Which cable or plug connection caused the fault? And where is it located?

Okay, mine was doing the exact same thing! I'm not that good with these things, so I brought it to the workshop. The bill said 'rear vent motor connection'. I would definitely get yours checked; diagnosis and repair cost around 95€.

Appreciate the info! I'll check the connections and the motor first. If that doesn't fix it, I'll take it to a shop. Thanks again!

Whoa, sounds familiar! I had a similar problem in my S10. Was your climate control unit acting completely bonkers, or just with the rear vents? Did you check the fuses? It could be something simple before diving into the wiring harness.
