Seat Ateca Driving Mode Errors
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Seat Ateca with a gasoline engine and 135,018 km is experiencing sporadic driving mode errors, including failure of audio/navigation functions and temporary shutdown of control units. The issue is suspected to be related to a cable connection problem with the BUS system to the control unit. A workshop visit confirmed the suspicion, and after a repair, the vehicle returned to normal operation.

Do you recall which control module was throwing the errors? And what error codes did your scan tool retrieve?

Yes, it sounds very familiar. I'd suggest that a visit to a workshop would be the best bet, hopefully that resolves your issue.

As suspected, the BUS system cable connection to the control module was indeed the culprit. A visit to the workshop and a 155€ repair cost later, the Seat Ateca is back to normal. Thanks for the input.

I had similar issues with my Ateca. Did you use a scan tool to pull the error codes? Could be a faulty control module. Service required light also came on in my case.
