Seat Ateca power window problem
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Seat Ateca diesel experienced a power window malfunction, with an error code suggesting a defective power window switch. Initial checks confirmed that fuses were intact, and no clicking sounds were heard, ruling out some mechanical issues. The problem was ultimately traced to the window control switch, which was replaced, resolving the issue.

Fuses are fine. No clicking. Is it easy to check the window regulator motor?

If there's no clicking, it could indeed be the switch itself, or potentially a wiring issue somewhere in the window control circuit. While it is possible to inspect the regulator motor, it involves disassembling the door panel and dealing with the window track. If you're not experienced with automotive repair, I would recommend taking it to a workshop to avoid causing further damage.

Cheers for the advice. Ended up being the window control switch as you thought. Automotive repair bill was about 200€, all sorted now.

I had a similar issue with my old Vauxhall Astra a few years back. The power windows just stopped working, and there was an error code. Have you checked the fuses related to the car window system? It could also be a problem with the window track, preventing the regulator motor from functioning correctly. Do you hear any clicking sounds when you try to operate the window?
