Seat Mii Electric Battery Issues

I'm experiencing some issues with my 2021 Seat Mii electric. Lately, the car battery seems weak when starting, and the lights are flickering. I've read online that it could be a faulty battery sensor. Has anyone experienced something similar? Any advice would be appreciated.

Summary of the thread

A 2021 Seat Mii electric vehicle was experiencing issues with a weak battery and flickering lights. The problem was suspected to be a faulty battery sensor, which could cause inaccurate battery charge readings. It was advised to have the car checked by a qualified mechanic rather than attempting a DIY fix. The mechanic confirmed the faulty sensor and replaced it, resolving the issue.

Flickering lights and a weak start on an electric Mii sounds like low voltage. Has the car battery been checked recently? What does the battery charge indicator show? It could be the battery sensor. Are you confident checking the battery voltage with a multimeter?

Thanks for the reply. I haven't checked the battery voltage myself, as I don't have a multimeter or know how to use one. The battery charge indicator seems normal, but maybe it's not accurate if the sensor is faulty? Is there any way to confirm if it is the battery sensor without special equipment?

If you're not comfortable using a multimeter, don't start poking around. A faulty battery sensor on a Seat Mii displaying those symptoms is a real possibility. And if the battery charge indicator is giving false readings, that points to the sensor even more. I'd recommend getting it checked by a qualified mechanic. They can properly diagnose it and replace the sensor if needed. Is it worth risking further damage by DIYing it?

Thanks for the help and quick response. I took the car to a workshop as suggested. They confirmed the battery sensor was faulty and replaced it. Everything seems to be working perfectly now. The total cost was 315€. Hopefully, this helps others with a similar problem.
