Hey, thanks for the quick reply! That wiring harness problem sounds scary but I'm glad they sorted it out for your Talisman. I'll definitely be keeping that in mind as a potential issue. Do you recall how much the fixing and replacement cost you? And have you run into any other problems since then? Fingers crossed my Arkana won't give me too much grief. Cheers!

Hey again, Yeah, the whole wiring harness trouble was a bit of a pain, but the mechanic I went to did a stellar job. In terms of cost, it was around 155€, which felt pretty reasonable considering the effort they put into solving it. Now about the radiator shutter issue you were suspecting, in my case, it got sorted out right after seeing the mechanic. They figured it out and fixed it up during the same visit - super efficient. Since then, the Talisman hasn't given me any more jitters. Keep me posted on how your Arkana behaves. Rootin' for you! Cheers!

Hey there, I really appreciate your insights and tips! I'm feeling a bit more optimistic now. 155€ doesn't sound too steep, and the fact that they managed to fix everything in one visit is impressive. Going to visit my local mechanic today and will certainly bring up your suggestions. Here's hoping that my Arkana just needs a minor fix and nothing major like a wiring replacement. Thanks again, and will definitely keep you posted about what happens next. Fingers crossed! Cheers!

Hey there! Faced a similar situation with my 2019 Renault Talisman. My issue turned out to be a corroded wiring harness to the sensor, which by nature isn't immediately a huge red flag since car wiring is pretty sturdy. But, if not addressed timely, it can lead to more serious problems. The garage I visited properly diagnosed it and cleaned up the corrosion successfully. They had to replace the entire harness, nonetheless, the work was quite solid. Can't complain - great job on their front. Not sure if it's the same issue with your Arkana, but you might want to bring it up when you're at your mechanic. Hope everything goes smooth for you! Cheers.
