Hey, your story gives me a bit of hope! Thanks for sharing. Not too thrilled about the damage, but hey, bracing myself for what might be lurking underneath all that drama. Hopefully, it'll turn out to be just the neck shaft solenoid valve. So, you mentioned getting it sorted fast? Right, I'm all up for it. Before this Fiat starts giving me nightmares! But, you've got me curious, how much did these fixes end up costing ya? Also, since your fix, has anything additional popped or did it run smoothly thereafter? Cheers and thanks for all the insights, they are a real lifesaver!
Hey. Glad to hear that my little story is helping you keep spirits up! Straight to your question, fixing the faulty neck shaft solenoid valve and addressing the power supply problem cost me a cool 250€. Not a small sum, but worth every penny considering the mess I could've had on my hands! Post the fix, guess what - the ol' Fiat has been behaving like a dream! The power's back to its prime, the sputtering and jerking is all gone, and best part, that annoying check engine light hasn't flickered since. I'm telling ya, getting to it quickly made a world of difference. Turns out, my gut was right about the camshaft adjustment being off. Had that sorted along with the neck shaft solenoid valve fix, and my Fiat right now is like it just stepped out of the salon! Hope you sail through this without much drama. Good luck! Cheers!
Hey there, Great to know your Fiat is back in action. Man, you've got me relieved about the 250€. It's a price I'm ready to pay, if it could get my Mobi back on track. Gut instinct you said, huh? Now, I'm confident that my diagnosis could be right too. Enough delaying, I'll be heading straight to the mechanic shop tomorrow. Hope to get my hands clean of this mess soon. I'll let ya know how it all goes! Thanks a trillion, pal. You've become my Fiat Whisperer! Cheers!
Hey, I feel your pain, went through a similar situation myself with my 2017 Fiat Argo. The beast was acting just like your Mobi, jerking and sputtering, coupled with that awful check engine light. I immediately knew something was off and took a peek under the hood. Found a handful of metal bits in the oil, myself. Not a great sight, to be honest. So, I dashed off to my local garage - and don't worry, these guys are one of the good ones. Trust me, they know their stuff. Turns out, the neck shaft solenoid valve was faulty, and there was an issue with the power supply. I gotta tell ya, those two issues could have easily ruined my engine. Anyway, they replaced the defective part and fixed up the power supply. They also suggested giving the entire system a once-over, considering the metal bits found in the oil, just to make sure there weren't any serious internal issues lurking around. Long story short, it was a pretty serious issue but promptly getting it fixed saved me a ton of potential trouble down the road. And hey, don't worry. It's a hassle, but it's part of owning a vehicle. If you're dealing with the same issues, I'd recommend getting it sorted pronto. You wouldn't want further damage on your hands! Cheers, and fingers crossed for your Mobi - may it run smooth and steady real soon!
