Hey there! Thanks for your swift response. Good to know that you were able to solve a similar issue easily. Wow! My Lexus CT200h has clocked a mileage of around 20,085 kilometers. One thing I forgot to mention is that I've been seeing a warning light flashing up, stating 'Check VSC'. Apart from the shaking, faltering power steering, and uncooperative ABS, I haven't noticed anything else really. It was its regular self at my last service. I'll surely inquire about the cable connection at my local workshop, too. Once again, thanks for the insight! Cheers!
Hey! Glad to lend a hand. The mileage on your CT200h certainly indicates it’s been a reliable ride. About the flashing 'Check VSC' light, ah yeah, that’s indicative of issues with the Vehicle Stability Control system. In my case, when the ABS and DSC weren't functioning properly, it came out to be a connection issue. But, your case might not be identical. As our cars are not of the same model, it makes a bit of a difference. It could be the faulty wiring, sensor damage, or the actuator pump - these might also cause the VSC light to flash. Good plan to have your local workshop look into the cable connection issues. Moreover, also ask them to check the other possibilities I mentioned, just to be thorough. It shouldn't cost much more to get it all covered. Remember to keep us updated with what the problem was and the eventual solution to it. The info might come in handy for someone else in the same boat, ya know! Good luck and fingers crossed it’s a quick fix. Cheers!
Hey there! You're the real MVP! I appreciate your thorough response. I will certainly ask the mechanics at my local workshop to look into these areas - the wiring, sensor, and the actuator pump, along with the cable connection. Just like your experience, I hope it gets resolved without a hitch and without drilling a hole in the pocket. I promise to share the eventual solution with everyone here. Hopefully, it'll help someone out in the future. Keep your fingers crossed for me, will you? Appreciate all the help. Cheers!
Hey there! I've got a similar instance with my 2019 Lexus IS300h. Although I don't have a ton of car experience, I've had an almost identical issue. The culprit then was a defective cable connection/plug connection. I managed to get it fixed at my trusted local workshop without much hassle. The guys there did a great job and all it cost me was 155€. Putting on my detective hat, I'd say you might be facing a similar connection issue. However, knowing the exact model of your vehicle and if there are any other abnormalities, might be more helpful in pinpointing the problem. Can you share any error messages or more specific symptoms? This would help me provide a bit more detailed advice. Cheers!
