Spark AC Not Cooling
Summary of the thread
The AC in a 2013 Chevrolet Spark stopped cooling, and the system doesn't engage despite the fuses being intact. Possible causes include a faulty valve in the AC system, as similar issues have been resolved by addressing such a component. The recommended solution is to take the vehicle to a specialized workshop for accurate diagnostics and repair.

Thanks. I don't recall any weird noises from the compressor before it failed. Could a bad valve in the AC system be the reason? What was the cause in your case?

Turns out, it was a faulty valve, like you suspected. AC issues can be tricky to diagnose. Given your symptoms, and that you've checked the basics, you're probably better off taking it to a workshop that specializes in AC diagnostics. They'll have the right equipment.

I appreciate you sharing. Given the complexity and need for special equipment, I'll book a workshop to diagnose the AC. The estimated repair cost is about 1000€. Thanks again for the help.

Interesting. I had a similar problem with my old Renault Megane. AC just quit. Did you notice any strange noises from the AC compressor before it stopped? Like a high-pitched whine?
