Spin oxygen sensor heater failure
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Chevrolet Spin is experiencing a check engine light due to an oxygen sensor heater failure, leading to increased fuel consumption. The sensor's cable and plug appear intact, suggesting the sensor itself may be faulty. A similar issue was resolved by replacing the oxygen sensor after cleaning attempts failed. The recommended solution is to visit a workshop for sensor replacement.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Yeah, it does point to a faulty sensor. Did yours throw the same error code for the heater element? And did you end up replacing the whole sensor?

Yep, same error. I tried cleaning it first, but no luck. Ended up taking it to the workshop. They confirmed it and replaced the O2 sensor.

Thanks! I appreciate the insight. I'll probably head to the shop, especially since the estimated repair cost is around 95€. Seems like it's the best course of action.

I had a similar problem with my Chevrolet Spin (though not the same year). Check engine light and all. Is it possibly a faulty sensor in the exhaust system?
