Suburban brake pedal pulsation
Summary of the thread
A 2007 Chevy Suburban experienced a pulsating sensation in the brake pedal. Initial checks of hydraulic connections and fluid levels did not resolve the issue. It was suggested that an undervoltage problem affecting the ABS module could be the cause. After addressing the electrical issue and replacing brake components, the problem was resolved.

Undervoltage? Seriously? That can affect the brakes? How does that even work? What should the voltage measure at?

Yeah, the ABS module is very sensitive to voltage fluctuations. If it's not getting a clean, steady supply, it can cause the pulsation you're feeling. I'd suggest getting it to a workshop so they can check it. It can cause way more damage to the system if you keep driving.

Thanks! You were spot on. Took it to a shop, they found an undervoltage issue. New brake pads and disc brakes, plus some electrical cleanup, and the car is braking fine now. Cost me 240€, but at least I am safe now.

I had a similar issue on my Suburban. Have you checked the voltage across your electrical system? A bad ground or voltage drop can cause all sorts of weird issues with the ABS and brake system.
