Tahoe Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe with a gasoline engine is experiencing issues related to a faulty fuel rail pressure sensor, indicated by a check engine light, stalling at idle, and reduced engine power. The diagnosis suggests a defective pressure sensor as the primary cause. The recommended solution is to check the fuel pressure and replace the faulty sensor, which resolved the problem and restored the vehicle's functionality.

I did inspect the fuel rail and related components. Did you figure out if the issue was just a bad sensor, or if something else was involved?

Pretty sure it was the sensor on mine. I fought with it for a bit trying to find vacuum leaks and all sorts of stuff until I gave up and took it to my shop. They plugged in a scanner and bingo, faulty fuel rail pressure sensor. I would suggest checking your fuel pressure, or replacing your sensor.

The pressure sensor replacement fixed it. Total cost was 240€, including the sensor and labor. The vehicle now functions as it should.

I had something similar on my Tahoe, although I didn't get the stalling issue. Check engine light, definitely. Reduced power, yep, felt like I was towing a boat anchor. Did you try checking any of the fuel injection components?
