Summary of the thread
A 2019 Nissan Teana is experiencing a charge air temperature sensor error, resulting in a check engine light and reduced power. Interesting. I visually inspected the sensor, and it appears clean. Do you recall if your BMW threw the same error code, and did you try cleaning the sensor first, or just replace the connection?

Honestly, I didn't mess with cleaning it. Similar error code, yeah. Just took it to my mechanic. They replaced the connection and that solved it. Could be worth getting yours checked by someone who knows what they're doing.

I located a slightly corroded connector at the sensor. Cleaned it up, but the problem persisted. I booked it into the local workshop. Turns out the cable itself was damaged internally. New cable and connector, total cost was 95€. Runs like a champ now.

Sounds familiar! I had almost the exact same symptoms – whistling and all – in my old BMW 3 series. Turned out to be a dodgy connection to the air intake temperature sensor. Have you checked the sensor itself? Sometimes they get gunked up.
