Trafic Height Control Restriction
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Renault Trafic is experiencing a speedometer warning light for height control restriction, improper low beam alignment, and uneven height between the front and rear axles, leading to a bumpy ride. The issue may be caused by a defective control rod on the sensor. It is suggested to inspect the load sensor connections for corrosion or damage, as these could also be contributing factors. A workshop visit is recommended for a thorough diagnosis and potential control rod replacement.

Thank you for the quick response. Where are the load sensor connections specifically located, and what's the best way to access them for inspection?

The sensor connections are usually near each wheel. However, considering the error codes and uneven height, a workshop visit may be necessary to properly diagnose the issue. It sounds like it may be the control rod.

Understood. Thank you for confirming my suspicions. I will proceed with a workshop appointment for a thorough diagnosis and control rod replacement. The estimated repair cost is 110€.

I had a similar issue with my Trafic. The symptoms you describe match my experience. Have you checked the load sensor connections for corrosion or damage? That was the culprit in my case, before I suspected the control rod itself.
