It was indeed a defective vacuum switching valve, which regulates boost pressure. Considering the cost of diagnostic and repair, I'd recommend having a workshop take a look at it.

Thank you. Following your advice, I had the vacuum switching valve replaced at a repair cost of 140€. The problem is resolved.

I had similar symptoms on my Trailblazer. Check for vacuum leaks, especially around the boost controller and pressure sensor. Turbo lag and a noticeable pressure drop were also present. Is the engine struggling at higher RPMs?
