Trailblazer Boost Pressure Control Fault

I am experiencing a boost pressure control fault with my 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer (gasoline engine) at 60316 km. The check engine light illuminates, engine power is reduced, engine response is poor and fuel consumption is increased. I suspect a defect in the vacuum switching valve, but would like to collect further opinions before I proceed.

I had similar symptoms on my Trailblazer. Check for vacuum leaks, especially around the boost controller and pressure sensor. Turbo lag and a noticeable pressure drop were also present. Is the engine struggling at higher RPMs?

Thank you for your reply. What exactly was the faulty component in your case? And what did you have to pay for the repair?

It was indeed a defective vacuum switching valve, which regulates boost pressure. Considering the cost of diagnostic and repair, I'd recommend having a workshop take a look at it.

Thank you. Following your advice, I had the vacuum switching valve replaced at a repair cost of 140€. The problem is resolved.
