Trailblazer Wiper Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Chevrolet Trailblazer is experiencing a complete wiper failure, with an error memory indicating a fault. The issue is suspected to be a faulty connection in the steering column or wiper switch circuit. It is suggested to check the cable and plug connections, particularly those related to the rain sensor and cruise control, as they might be linked to the wiper switch. If troubleshooting proves challenging, professional assistance is recommended to avoid further complications.

Interesting. You mean the rain sensor or cruise control could be interfering even if those features seem to be working fine? Was yours a simple fix, or did you have to chase wires?

Yep, exactly. The rain sensor module can cause weird issues. I spent ages troubleshooting it. I'd suggest checking the connections first, but honestly, I ended up taking mine to a workshop. Saved me a ton of time and potentially messing something up further.

Right, I hear you. I'll give the connections a look, but I think a trip to the shop is in order. They reckon around 95€ to sort it, pointing to those exact connections. Thanks for confirming my suspicions!

Sounds familiar. I had similar wiper issues with my Trailblazer. Check the cable and plug connection, especially if you have rain sensor and cruise control. Those systems are often linked to the wiper switch.
