Traverse seat heater failure
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Chevrolet Traverse has a non-functional driver's side seat heater, accompanied by an error code. The initial suspicion was a thermal sensor issue. However, after checking the fuses and consulting others with similar experiences, it was determined that the problem was likely with the seat heating mat. The recommended solution was to have it professionally diagnosed and repaired, which confirmed the heating mat as the issue.

Yeah, I checked all the fuses related to the seat heaters. They all seem fine. What exactly was the problem with yours? Was it the seat heating mat itself or something else?

Pretty sure it was the seat heating mat. It's a common issue, I've heard. Honestly, just take it to a workshop. They'll diagnose it properly. I wouldn't mess with it too much yourself; you could make it worse.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the shop, and you were spot on – it was the seat heating mat. Ended up costing me 390€ to replace. Appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar. I've got a Chevy Traverse too, and had similar issues last year. The seat heater just quit, and the error code was a pain. You checked the fuses, right?
