Twingo AC compressor failure

Hi, I have a 2008 Renault Twingo diesel. The A/C compressor suddenly stopped. The air conditioning system won't switch on, and the air is no longer cooled. I scanned it and there's an error stored about undervoltage. Mileage is at 54178 km. Any ideas?

I had a similar problem with my Twingo's A/C system. Have you checked the AC relay and refrigerant levels? A leak could cause the compressor to shut off to protect itself. Also, undervoltage can cause the AC compressor to fail.

The AC relay location can vary, check your owner's manual for the exact location. As for the refrigerant leak, unless you have the right tools, it's best left to a professional. Undervoltage can definitely cause the compressor to shut off though. It would be best to visit a workshop.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice! I took it to a workshop, and the mechanic confirmed the undervoltage issue. Repair cost was 240€.
