Thank you for the input. I have inspected the wiring harness and connectors and could not detect any anomalies. Have you also checked the fuel pressure regulator?

I did not check the fuel pressure regulator. Based on my experience and advice from the workshop, the defective rail pressure sensor was the reason. Given your detailed inspection of the harness, replacing the sensor may be the best course of action. The engine should be running fine afterwards. I would suggest visiting a trusted workshop.

Understood, thank you for sharing your experience. I replaced the rail pressure sensor, and the issue is now resolved. The total repair cost was 240€ including the sensor and labor.

That sounds frustrating. I had a similar issue with my Opel Insignia, a diesel, where the check engine light kept appearing, and the car would lose power, especially during acceleration. Have you checked the wiring harness and connectors to the sensor? Sometimes a loose connection can cause a faulty signal.
