XTrail AC failure

I'm having AC issues with my 2022 Nissan XTrail Hybrid, about 122000 km on it. The AC stopped working, no cooling, and won't switch on. There's a warning light and an error stored. Could it be a fuse?

Sounds frustrating! I had a similar issue with my 2018 Skoda Octavia petrol. The symptoms were almost identical. Did you check for leaks around the AC compressor? That was my problem. What error code is it showing?

Thanks for the quick reply! I haven't checked for leaks specifically, wouldn't know what to look for. I'd have to get the error code read again. Is it possible a defective air conditioning control unit is causing this? I saw something about that online.

A defective air conditioning control unit is a strong possibility, especially with those symptoms and the stored error. While it could be minor, it's probably beyond a simple DIY fix. To prevent further damage, I recommend a workshop. They can accurately diagnose it.
