Yaris Mixture Preparation Error

Hello, I'm experiencing a mixture preparation error with my 2010 Toyota Yaris diesel. It only has 27732 km. The check engine light is on, engine power is reduced, it runs rough, jerks when accelerating, and sometimes stalls at idle. Could a defective injection valve/injector be the cause? I've checked the mass airflow sensor, but it seems fine. I am trying to determine the likely cause before taking it to a workshop.

Hey! I had similar issues with my Yaris. Reduced power, rough running... sounds like a rich mixture problem, maybe the intake manifold? Have you checked the spark plugs and air-fuel ratio? It could be a faulty injector, as you suspect.

Thanks for the quick reply. Regarding the injectors, did you experience all of the same symptoms? Did you also have stalling problems at idle? I am trying to eliminate possible causes.

Yes, stalling at idle was definitely one of the symptoms, along with the jerking. Honestly, it sounds like the injectors. I'd get it to a workshop. I ended up paying 515€ for the repair.
