Hi, I'm having trouble with my 2019 Toyota Yaris hybrid. After replacing the battery, the power windows stopped working. Both driver and passenger windows are completely unresponsive. I checked the error memory, and there's an error related to the window regulator initialization. Any ideas?

I'm sorry to hear that. I had a similar issue with my Opel Astra after the battery was replaced as well. In my case, the window controls ceased to be operational. Did you verify the fuses?

I did check them as well, but it did not resolve my issue. In the end, I consulted a professional. A reset of the window regulators was needed; it appears to be a rather sensitive system. I would suggest you do the same.

Thanks. I took it to a workshop, and they had to initialize the window regulators with their diagnostic tool. Cost me 290€, but at least it's fixed now.
