Basically, however, the vehicle is accessed via software during coding and changes can be made. This is usually done via an OBD cable with an OBD port on the vehicle or via Bluetooth. You are not actually recoding the car, but merely enabling functions that are already available.
Nowadays, coding can be done quickly and easily using a cell phone or laptop. Let’s take the Carly software as an example. Carly is very easy to operate via your cell phone and coding can be done from there.
