107 Fog Sensor Issues

I have a Peugeot 107, built in 2006, gasoline engine, with 179278 km on the clock. I'm getting an error stored in the error memory related to the fog sensor. The air conditioning won't switch on, the spray nozzles are frozen even when it's not that cold, and the mirror heating isn't working. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone experienced this before?

I had similar symptoms on my 107. Check the fog sensor; it is a known issue, and it can affect the entire CAN bus. Do you experience windshield fogging?

Yes, I do have persistent windshield fogging, even with the climate control supposedly on. Where exactly should I be checking the fog sensor, and what am I looking for?

Okay, so you have the same problem as I had. I think going to a mechanic is the best option to solve this problem, to locate the defective cable or plug connection of the component and resolve the issue

Thanks for confirming. I suspected it was the sensor itself causing all these issues. I'll take it to the workshop; they quoted 95€ for the repair. I'll let you know how it goes.
