Hey thanks for chiming in. My i30's barely touched 51207 km and I haven't replaced anything major just yet. The last service done was the usual oil change around the 45000 KM mark. If it's a faulty sensor like you mentioned, wouldn't the warning light show something specific? Mine's just blinking any old light without a solid clue. Maybe it's time for a trip down to my local shop. Just hate if I have to chip in much for this problems. But gotta keep the wheels rolling, right? Cheers!

Hey there! Ah, in my case, the warning light wasn't exactly a tell-tale sign of the specific issue either. It just kept acting up without pinning a solid hint. In car language, sometimes, a blinking light might just mean 'Hey! I am feeling under the weather!". Haha! Considering your car's mileage, it's still relatively fresh on the road. But as we know, glitches can creep up anytime. You've been on top of your maintenance, which is great. Don't worry too much yet. Take it down to your local guy for a check. It could be a minor problem that they can solve without needing a costly fix. Tell them about the possible sensor issue, it's at least a starting point. And, keep in mind while it set me back 365 Euro, every case is unique. Yours could end up costing less. Fingers crossed! Stay safe on the road.

Hey! Yeah, you're right. It feels a bit like my car's playing a mysterious guessing game with me with the warning lights. Not fun! It’s a bit reassuring to hear that this kind of problem is not that rare. And, you’ve got a solid point about each case being unique. I'll pop by my local shop and see if they can sort it out without burning a hole in my pocket. Here’s hoping for the best! Thanks again for the advice and well wishes. Stay safe and happy motoring! Cheers!

Hey! I can relate because I had a pretty similar mess with my 2011 Hyundai Elantra. I’m not an expert, but I've had some experience with car troubles. Turns out it was a sensor cable connection that was the nagging issue. Took it to my local shop, and they found out the glitch and replaced it. Cost me a pretty penny, around 365 Euro. So, could be something along this line for your i30 too. What's the mileage on your car? And, have you had any parts replaced recently? More details would help to figure out the best next steps. Good luck!
