Car won't start

Hey there! Well, your response sure was a relief! Seems like this isn’t an unheard-of problem then. Your really hit the nail on the head. Good to know the whole car isn't going down the drain. Now, if you don’t mind me asking, could you recall how much damage it did to your pocket when you got it fixed? Just trying to gauge what I should expect. And just out of curiosity, any other issues popped up since you got the key programming sorted? Thanks a ton for your help!
Hey! Ah, the ol' money question, eh? If memory serves me right, it didn't cause a massive dent in the wallet- cost me around 45 Euro to get the key thing straightened out. So, yeah, you should expect something in that ballpark. Since getting it fixed, it's been smooth sailing. The vehicle lock malfunction was sorted, and haven't had to second guess whether she'll start up or not! It was definitely money well spent! No additional issues from my end, touch wood. Fingers crossed, you'll get your Lexus up and running perfectly soon! Cheers!
Oh, such a relief! Honestly, I was bracing myself for a bigger hit to the wallet. But 45 Euro doesn't feel too steep for putting my mind at ease. It seems like a worthy investment, considering it restored your car back to being reliable. Thanks for your advice, and most importantly your detailed experience. This is really encouraging, and I feel a bit more relaxed about dealing with this issue now. And yes, here's to my Lexus being back in form really soon. Really appreciate your help! Cheers!
Hey! Had a similar issue with my 2016 Lexus GS, so you're not alone. My car, same as yours, would start but then shut off without any apparent reason. After some head scratching, figured it might have something to do with the key programming. Got a trustworthy who runs a garage down the road. He sniffed the problem right out and suspected it was indeed about the key programming. The car's system wasn't recognising the key properly, causing it to shut off immediately to prevent theft as a safety measure. It's not your ordinary car problem, but it's nothing too heavy either. While it's definitely inconvenient and a real head-scratcher, it's nothing that can ruin the car entirely. Hope this sorts you out. Cheers!
