Hey, cheers for chipping in with your experience! It sounds like your antenna issue was quite similar to what I'm dealing with on my CT200h. It's reassuring to hear your story turned out pretty well. So, if you don't mind me prying, do you recall about how much you had to part with for that antenna fix? I'm trying to get a ballpark figure so I know what to expect. And has any other related issue popped up since you had it fixed? Thanks again!

Hey there, no problem at all! I'm more than happy to share my experience if it helps you out. For the antenna repair on my ES300h, that set me back around 255€. That included the cost of a new antenna and the labor to install and align it properly. Remember, prices can vary depending on the mechanic, location, and the extent of the damage, so it's always good to get an estimate beforehand. And since that trip to the mechanic, I must say, everything's been smooth sailing. No more navigation or audio system gremlins, the radio signal is crisp and clear. Knock on wood, no more related issues have popped up since the fix. Best of luck with your CT200h, and I hope your experience goes as well as mine did!

Ah, that's good to hear! It makes me hopeful about my own situation. It's a bit frustrating when technology goes a bit wonky in your own vehicle but having a likely cost jotted down takes a bit of the edge off. 255€ sounds reasonable, considering the role the antenna plays in the vehicle's functionality. Thanks for sharing your insights and experience, it's really helpful! I'm glad your issue was a one-time event and you've had clear sailing since then. I'm crossing my fingers my visit to the mechanic's goes as smoothly as yours did! Cheers!

Hey there! I've got a 2015 Lexus ES300h, and I ran into a similar problem not too long ago. My audio and navigation systems were going haywire, and after some head scratching, it did indeed turn out to be the antenna. Those systems rely pretty heavily on the antenna, and if it gets defective, it'll throw them off. I took my car to the garage and they did a decent job. They conducted a thorough diagnosis, replaced the faulty antenna then realigned everything perfectly. It did seem serious at the time because of the impact but after the fix, it felt routine in hindsight. Just a piece of advice, it's better to get a professional to do it. Also, it might not be 100% an antenna issue, could be related to wiring too, but I'd definitely check out the antenna first. Good luck with it!
