Well, your situation does sound eerily similar to mine. That's some relief to hear that it wasn't a major, hole-in-the-pocket kinda issue for you! Just trying to get my ducks in a row here, do you remember roughly what the damage to your wallet was for the fix? And since the repair, has anything else come out of the woodwork? Just crossing my fingers that it will be a 'fix it and forget it' kind of situation! Thanks for the reassurance! Really appreciate that. Cheers!

Hey again! Well as far as the dent in my wallet goes, it was more of a poke than a punch. The whole fix cost me about 155.00 €. I was more relieved that the Hyundai was all back to its old glory that I didn't mind paying for it. And to set your mind at ease - nope, nothing else dodgy has popped up since the repair. It’s been running smooth as butter! The Error on the Flex-Ray was all sorted out - the bus ain't messing about anymore, hahaha. Seems like it really was just that pesky Cable connection or plug connection causing the fuss. So yeah, fingers crossed that yours will be a similar 'fix it and forget it' deal. It's a sturdy little car after all! Cheers! Hang in there!

Bingo! That's the kind of news I was hoping for. 155.00 € sounds like a bargain compared to the nightmare I'd cooked up in my head! I'm definitely more comfortable heading off to the mechanic now. It's amazing how something as simple as a cable connection can cause such chaos, huh? But, I'm glad to hear that your Hyundai's been behaving since the fix. Thanks again you've been a huge help. I'll let you know how it goes with my ix35. Here's to hoping it's as easy on the pocket as your fix was. Stay well and take care! Cheers!

Hey there! Oddly enough, I ran into a pretty similar issue with my 2020 Hyundai i10. The whole LCD display and the power windows threw a massive wobbly all of a sudden. I just knew it wasn't something I could tackle myself, so I scooted off to the garage despite the shiver down my spine. Turns out it was, in fact, a defective cable connection, just like you suspect. Rest easy - it wasn't some terrifyingly complex procedure or some deeply seated mechanical flaw. It was pretty much them replacing and properly tightening the cables that were causing the havoc. Had to leave it there overnight, but came back to a car that felt almost brand new! So, don't fret! I reckon you're on the right track diagnosing it as a cable issue. It bugged me too, but honestly, it was more of a nuisance than a crucial, car threatening issue. Hope things smooth out for you soon! All the best!
