Hey there, Thanks for sharing your experience with the Seat Arona, quite a relief to know I'm not alone on this one. Your description gives me a clear picture of what's up with my Tarraco. Oh, and you mentioned the part was replaced... got any receipts laying around that show what it cost to fix? I'm just trying to prepare myself for the possible hit to the wallet, you know? And since you've gone through it, did any other issues arise afterwards or has it been smooth sailing since then? Appreciate your time, dude! Best Regards.
Hey, Of course, happy to share more deets on that. It's always good to know what you might be in for, right? Now, don't panic about the bill. If I remember correctly, I parted with about 170 Euro to get that pesky ABS sensor replaced. Not exactly cheap, but then again, it's way better than continuous issues with your ride. As far as other problems are concerned, I've got to say, after the initial shock to my wallet, it's been nothing but clear skies and smooth roads ahead. Ever since the mechanic fixed the supply voltage for the ABS sensor, my Arona's been running like a dream again. So in my books, it was definitely worth the money spent. Keep me posted with how you go about solving your Tarraco’s issue. We’re all here to help each other, right? Cheers!
Hey, You are a legend! It's always comforting to get a ballpark figure for what these kinds of parts and repairs might charge. 170 Euro sounds manageable, and I agree, steering clear of continuous issues is absolutely worth it in the end. Safety and reliability do stamp a premium. I’ll remember to let you know how my Tarraco fares once the ABS sensor issue is sorted out. Cross fingers it should go just as well as your Arona. Thanks a lot again for taking the time to walk me through. This here is genuine camaraderie – what this forum is all about! Stay safe and happy driving! Cheers!
Hey there, Just saw your post and I can totally relate to your problem. I also had an issue with my 2023 Seat Arona a while back, similar mileage too. From my experience, it does sound like the ABS sensor could be causing those symptoms. The ABS sensor is pretty crucial because it tells your car's computer how fast the wheels are turning and if this starts giving faulty signals, it messes up everything like you've experienced. Last time when I took my Arona to the garage, they had to poke around a bit before they found that the ABS sensor's supply voltage was indeed the culprit. The mechanic ended up replacing the entire sensor because it was integrated into the system. As for the seriousness of the problem, well, let's just say it wasn't something I could ignore. Especially considering the Power Loss and traction – not exactly safe for daily driving. Though it was inconvenient, getting the issue sorted out was definitely worth the peace of mind. Anyways, hope this info helps. Good luck with your Tarraco! Cheers!
