Power windows malfunction

Hey there! Great info! I hadn't even considered the window switch. Thanks for the tip! Now that you mentioned, do you have the ballpark of what it cost you to get the window switch replaced? And did anything else pop up related to the window issue, or has it just been smooth rolling since? Hoping my beast will be back on track soon. Cheers!
Hey again! Fixing the rogue window switch set me back for about 130€. Not dirt cheap, but hopefully won't break the bank for ya! As for any extra issues - nada, nothing, nil. The ole' Seat Leon's been running like a dream, almost like the window problem never happened. Once the mechanic did his magic on the window switch, the problem with the window regulator got sorted too. Good as new! Looks like it was just the window switch causing all the commotion after all. So yeah, fingers crossed your Tarraco's troubles turn out to be minor as well! Best of luck!
Thanks a million! Your experience definitely gives me some relief and direction to start with. €130.00 for a window switch is not a bad deal at all, glad to hear no other issues popped up. Hoping for a similar fix with the Tarraco. Guess I'll be heading to the mechanic sooner than later. Thanks again. Appreciate the sharing and help. Cheers!
Hey there! I've got a 2017 Seat Leon, so just a bit older than your beast but same family, eh? Last year, I had the same issue, right window wouldn't go up and down the way it should. Everything else was just fine, car was running smooth. Thought it was a window regulator issue too, but guess what, it turned out to be a window switch defect. This was not a super serious issue, although pretty annoying. It wasn't causing any functional issues with the ride, I do like to feel the breeze sometimes, if you know what I mean. My mechanic switched out the faulty window switch and after that it's been smooth rolling ever since. He checked the regulator as well, but it didn't need any work. So before you start worrying about the regulator, do give the window switch a check first. It could very well be the culprit. Good luck. Cheers!
