3008 Blower Not Working
Summary of the thread
A 2009 Peugeot 3008 diesel has a non-functional fresh air blower, with the blower motor not receiving power and an error stored in the memory. Possible causes include issues with the electrical wiring or the fan speed controller, which are common culprits before the blower motor itself fails. It is recommended to have a qualified workshop diagnose and repair the problem, as accessing and testing these components requires technical expertise.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't check the wiring or the controller specifically, just saw the error code related to the blower motor. Where exactly should I be looking for the wiring and controller? Any specific areas prone to issues?

Alright, hearing that makes me think you might be in over your head a bit. Accessing and testing those components requires some technical knowledge. The wiring can be damaged anywhere between the fuse box and the blower motor itself, which is behind the glove compartment. The controller is usually near the blower motor. I strongly recommend visiting a qualified workshop to get it diagnosed properly. I ended up paying 365€ for the repair.

Thanks for the advice. I think you're right; I'll take it to a shop. I appreciate the insight!

Hello there! I drive a Peugeot 3008 as well, although I can't recall the year. I experienced a very similar issue with my climate control system a while back. The airflow was completely dead. Did you by chance check the electrical wiring and the fan speed controller before assuming it's the blower motor itself? Those are often the culprits before the motor gives out. It's always wise to investigate thoroughly before condemning the blower motor.
