350Z Rough Running Jerking Acceleration

My 2009 Nissan 350Z with a gasoline engine is running rough. The check engine light is on, and the error memory has an error stored. It's jerking when accelerating. Mileage is at 214103 km. Could a leak in the exhaust system cause this?

I had a similar problem with my 350Z. Does it feel like a misfire? I'd start by checking the usual suspects: oxygen sensor, crankshaft sensor, fuel pump, and air filter. Have you noticed any rough idle?

Yeah, the idle is a bit rough, now that you mention it. Which of those sensors gave you trouble, and did you have the jerking under acceleration too?

I never got to the bottom of it myself. I poked around a bit, but honestly, it was beyond my skillset. I just took it to a workshop to get it sorted. Best bet is to get it properly diagnosed. Could be a simple fix or something more complicated.

Thanks for the advice. Ended up being a leak in the exhaust system, as I suspected. Cost me 265€ to repair. Appreciate the help!
