370Z Air Suspension Failure

Thanks for the tip! No hissing sounds that I've noticed, but I'll definitely check the cable and plug connections to the compressor. Where exactly is the compressor located? And is there anything specific I should look for when inspecting the connections besides obvious corrosion or looseness?

On my Z, the compressor is located near the rear axle, kinda tucked away. As for the connections, look for any signs of damage to the wires themselves – frays, cuts, anything like that. Also, try disconnecting and reconnecting the plug a few times. Sometimes that's enough to clean off any corrosion that you can't see. Honestly though, given all the symptoms you're describing, it might be best to get it checked by a workshop. My issue turned out to be a defective connection, but the diagnostic needed to confirm was more than I could handle.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I checked the connections as you suggested, and they seemed okay. I ended up taking it to a local shop, and you were right – it was a defective cable connection! Cost me about 95€ to get it sorted. Appreciate the help!

Whoa, that sounds familiar. I have a 370Z too, and I had similar problems with the air suspension a while back. The leaning, the error lights, the whole shebang. Did you notice any hissing sounds, like air leaking? It could be a faulty compressor, but before you go replacing it, have you checked all the connections? Especially the cable and plug going to the compressor. A loose or corroded connection can cause all sorts of havoc with those systems.
