370Z Transmission Issues

Hey, I'm having major issues with my 2018 Nissan 370Z (gasoline engine) and I'm freaking out! The transmission indicator and check engine lights are both on. The car's stuck in some kind of emergency mode, and the automatic transmission isn't shifting right. It feels like the gears are slipping and making horrible grinding noises. I scanned it and there's an error code stored. Could this be a radiator oil pressure issue? Mileage is 67217 km. Anyone else had this happen?

It's possible you have a radiator oil pressure issue. The symptoms you describe can be related. Have you checked the cable and plug connections to the radiator oil pressure sensor? A defective connection there is a common cause.

Thanks! Where exactly is the radiator oil pressure sensor located? And what should I be looking for – loose wires, corrosion, or something else?

The sensor location can vary slightly, but it's generally found near the radiator or oil cooler. Look for damaged or loose wiring, and corrosion on the connector pins. However, given the symptoms and error code, and without proper tools, it's advisable to take it to a workshop for a proper diagnosis.

You were right! Took it to a mechanic, and it was a defective plug connection on the radiator oil pressure sensor, just like you said. They fixed it for 95€. Thanks a bunch for the help!
