4Runner Reduced Engine Power

I'm losing my mind. My 2020 Toyota 4Runner with a gasoline engine is acting up. I've got 164595 km on the clock. Getting seriously reduced engine power, and the error memory is full of nonsense. I'm suspecting it's the ECU. Anyone else seen this?

I had something similar happen with my old Volvo V70. Same symptoms - felt like I was driving a lawnmower. Did you check the main relay? That was the culprit in my case.

The main relay, huh? Where is that located typically? And how would I test it? Is it even worth checking myself, or am I better off just taking it to the shop?

On my Volvo, it was in the engine bay fuse box. Testing involves a multimeter, but honestly, if you're not comfortable with that, just take it to a shop. Could save you a bigger headache. Seems like the faulty relay could have fried the ECU.

Thanks a million! You were spot on. Took it to the shop, and it was indeed the main relay, messing with the ECU. 120€ later, she's running like new. Appreciate the help!
