5008 Panoramic Roof Sun Blind Failure

Oh, I know that problem. I've got a 5008 too, and the same thing happened to me last year. Was it making any funny noises before it packed in, or did it just suddenly stop?

Thanks for the reply! Now that you mention it, there was a slight grinding noise sometimes when it was closing. Did yours do the same?

Yep, grinding noise is exactly what I had. I messed about with it for ages but couldn't fix it myself. Eventually, I had to take it to a workshop. They confirmed it was the motor and replaced the whole sun blind assembly. Cost me around 330€ all in.
