807 Seat Heater Failure

Hi, I have a 2004 Peugeot 807 with a gasoline engine and 246138 km on the clock. The seat heater isn't working. It doesn't get warm at all, and the error memory has a fault stored related to it. I suspect it's the seat heating mat itself that's gone bad. Anyone else had this?

Yeah, I had something similar happen on my 807. Does the temperature control seem to be doing anything at all, or is it just dead? Have you checked the fuses?

The temperature control doesn't seem to make any difference, and I did check the fuses – all seem fine. Was your issue exactly the same, with the seat not heating at all?

Yep, exactly the same. Fuse was okay, control seemed dead. Ended up being the heating element in the seat cushion itself. Bit of a pain to get to. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop to get it diagnosed properly.

Thanks for the info! Took it to the workshop, and you were right. It was the seat heating mat. Repair cost me 390€. Appreciate the help!
