Thanks for the tip! You mentioned checking the motor mount and transmission mount connections. Could you elaborate on exactly what I should be looking for when I'm inspecting them? Was it visibly obvious in your case, like a broken wire or something?

In my case, one of the connectors wasn't fully seated. It looked alright at first glance but wiggling it revealed it was loose. Definitely check for any corrosion on the pins too. Honestly, if you're not super comfortable with electrical stuff, it might be worth having a pro take a look. The cost of a new engine mount is not bank breaking but you don't want to introduce new problems.

Thanks again for the insight! Took it to the shop, and you nailed it – a loose connection on the engine mount. They re-seated it, cleared the error, and the vibration is gone. Appreciate the help!

Wow, that sounds familiar! I've got the same A Klasse, though I can't recall the build year right now. I had similar vibration issues and an uneven idle a while back. Check your motor mount and transmission mount, especially the connections. I remember something about a TSB (technical service bulletin) related to engine mount issues on some models. It might be worth looking into whether that TSB applies to your VIN. It could save you some time and money.
