A Klasse mirror heating problem
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Mercedes A Klasse owner experienced a mirror heating issue with a stored error at 58,512 km. The problem was suspected to be due to a bad cable or plug. Were your symptoms identical – completely non-functional mirror heating with a stored error? Which fuse location did you inspect? Any details would be appreciated.

Yeah, completely non-functional, same as you described. I can't remember the exact fuse number, it was a while back. It’s probably in the car's manual. But honestly, with an error code showing, it could be more than just a fuse. If you're not comfortable poking around with the electrics, maybe best to get it checked at a workshop.

I had a technician inspect the vehicle. It was a defective wiring harness connection to the mirror. The repair was completed within the estimated cost of 95€. Thanks again for your assistance.

I've got an A Klasse, and I think I had something similar last year. It was a real pain on frosty mornings when you need the rearview mirror clear. The car mirror wasn’t heating up at all, right? Did you check the fuses? I'm no expert, but it could be a simple electrical fault.
