A Klasse power window issue

I'm having trouble with the power windows on my 2022 Mercedes A Klasse hybrid. They've suddenly stopped working. The car has about 110645 km on it. I've checked and there's an error code for the window control system. I think it might be the power window switch, but I'm not sure. Has anyone else had this problem? What could be the cause before I get it repaired? Any advice on the window track or control would be great.

I had a similar issue with my A Klasse. The symptoms sound very familiar. It was indeed the power window switch that failed. Have you checked the wiring harness that connects to the switch? Sometimes a loose connection or damaged wire can cause this, before condemning the regulator itself. Also, consider the possibility of a faulty window control module. It might be worth checking the voltage at the switch to see if it is getting power.

Thanks for the reply. Is there a specific area I should focus on with the wiring harness, or a common point of failure? Also, where is the window control module located in the A Klasse? I'm reasonably proficient, but haven't located the module yet.

The wiring harness often fails where it passes from the car body into the door, due to repeated flexing. The control module location varies, but generally it is behind the door panel or under the dash. Considering the mileage and the error code, it might be simplest to get it checked at a workshop. A diagnostic tool will pinpoint the issue quickly.

Thanks for your assistance. After some further diagnosis, I decided to take it to a mechanic. It turned out to be the power window switch, as initially suspected. The repair including parts and labor cost around 200€. All working fine now.
