Hey, thanks for your reply, that really sounds like me. Can you remember what you had to pay for the repair? And did you have any more problems afterwards or did everything go smoothly? Thanks in advance and best regards!

Hey, sure, I remember it quite well. The repair cost me €1000 because the ABS control unit was defective and had to be replaced. It wasn't cheap, but it was definitely worth it. Since I had the car at the mechanic, the problem with the wheel speed sensor malfunction (ABS sensor) has been resolved. Everything is now running like clockwork, no more warning lights or error messages. Just as it should be! Greetings!

Hey, that was a number for the wallet, but if it helps, it's worth the money. I'm taking my car to the garage next week, hopefully everything goes the same as you. Thanks for the valuable information! Best regards!

Hello Frank, do you have any feedback for us yet? In many BMWs, the drive shaft also rusts and damages the metal ring from which the sensor receives its signal - then the sensor also breaks. MfG

If you can't fix the car yourself, what is the point of using Carly? I mean you take it in , they'll fix it.

While it's true that a mechanic will handle the repairs, using a tool like Carly can help you understand what's wrong with your car before you take it in. This can help you avoid unnecessary repairs and costs. Plus, it's always good to have some knowledge about your vehicle's health. Do you have any other questions or concerns?

It could be a number of things causing the driving stability light and the starting off assist to come on. It could be a faulty wheel speed sensor, a problem with the ABS control unit, or even a low brake fluid level. I would recommend starting with a simple check of your brake fluid level and tire pressure. If those are fine, you might want to consider having a mechanic perform a diagnostic check to identify the exact issue. Please keep us updated on your progress.

How do you find out which wheel sensor is at fault, rather than replacing all four.

Hey, I know the problem, had it last year with my 2007 BMW Z4. It was definitely a serious issue: ABS/DSC warning lights, fault memory, everything. As you suspected, it was the wheel speed sensor. The mechanics had to replace the sensor and some related parts to solve the problem. It was quite a job, but they did a good job. Can't tell you if it will be exactly the same with your car of course, but if the symptoms are similar, best to expect something similar. Hope this helps you! Greetings!
