Acceleration jerking problems BMW X1 Diesel
(Translated from Romanian)
Summary of the thread
The owner of a BMW X1 Diesel is experiencing acceleration jerking problems, particularly after the car sits in the sun. Possible causes include a clogged or dirty fuel filter, though this was recently changed, and issues with the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, which may be affected by dirt or debris in warmer temperatures. Cleaning the MAF sensor is suggested as a potential solution.

Check if the fuel filter is clogged or dirty, as this can cause jerking and poor acceleration. Let me know if this resolves the issue or if you need further assistance.
The fuel filter is changed recently....repet only when it sits in the sun.....all winter when it was cold it worked normally....

Inspect the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor for dirt or debris, as it can affect engine performance, especially in warmer temperatures. Clean it carefully and see if the issue persists. Let me know how it goes or if you have more questions.
