Throttle body's clean. MAF sensor is also fine. I'm leaning towards a full throttle valve replacement. Thinking it might be the whole assembly. Did your Corsa end up needing a full replacement?

Yes, in the end the workshop changed the whole throttle body unit in my Corsa. The diagnostics pointed directly to a faulty sensor within the assembly, so cleaning was not enough. I'd suggest getting a proper diagnostic done before you start replacing parts.

I took it to the workshop and, yep, throttle valve was defective. Accelerator pedal module issue it was. Replacement cost me 265€. Hopefully, fuel efficiency will improve now the engine can idle properly again!

I had similar symptoms on my old Opel Corsa, but it was a petrol engine. Check engine light, sluggish acceleration... Drove me nuts! Did you check the throttle body? When was the last time you cleaned it, or had it checked for carbon buildup?
