Accent key battery warning
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Hyundai Accent owner is experiencing a 'key battery low' warning, resulting in the keyless access not working properly. The issue could be due to a low battery in the key fob, which is a common cause. If replacing the battery doesn't resolve the problem, it might be due to a faulty receiver in the car, and professional inspection is recommended.

Yes, exactly! The range is now almost zero. Did changing the battery fix the issue completely for you?

Well, it improved things slightly. But honestly, it still wasn't great. I ended up taking it to a workshop. They said it could be a faulty receiver in the car itself. I'd suggest you get it checked out professionally if a new battery doesn't fully solve it.

Okay, thanks for the insight! I'll try the battery replacement first, and if that doesn't do the trick, I'll head to a workshop. Turns out the replacement was 37€. Thanks again!

Hey! I have an Accent too, and I had something similar happen a while back. The range on my key fob got terrible all of a sudden. Like, I practically had to touch the door handle for it to unlock. Is that what you're experiencing?
